Measurement and qualification methods
Incoming inspection – of raw materials, materials, purchased products:
– Spectral analysis of Al-melt for compliance with EN 1706. Device type – SPECTROMAXx
– Visual inspection – organoleptic, based on external quality features, according to customer specifications
– Measurement control – based on the design documentation of the delivered product with standard measuring means. ISO 2768
Non-destructive control
– X-Ray examination of Al-castings, based on EN 12681 and EN 13068-3 with acceptance criteria according to ASTM 155/E2422. X-Ray System x-cube 160/225 kV. Qualification of the staff according to BDS ISO 9712 – level RT2.
– Leak test – Helium leak test with maximum fluid pressure 6-7 atm. Basic standards BDS EN 1593, BDS EN 1779 table. A2, A1 technology. Product standards BDS EN 13625: 2001; BDS EN 13185: 2001; BDS EN 13184: 2001. Qualification of the staff according to BDS ISO 9712 – level LT2
